Description

Skygazing from Weikersheim in southern Germany. The Milky Way and planet Jupiter shine above the lights of neighboring towns. As noted by the photographer who posed at this image “This is a guided single exposure of 120 seconds, using a Canon EOS 40D DSLR at ISO 800 with a 24 mm lens at f/3.5 and a flash light, illuminating (and freezing the foreground with no trace of the tracking) the foreground at the end of the exposure. It isn’t easy standing around without moving for two minutes; otherwise, hazes around my body could be recorded on the image”
