Gate to the Stars
Description
A natural dark sky is a unique gate to the stars. You feel much closer to the universe, compared to the time you are near the cities. Just silence and shimmering stars. This image was captured during my trip to the Dark Sky Reserve Poloniny. It’s near Runina village in Slovakia. I stargazed there for three nights and this night was significantly the best thanks to the atmospheric condition. I was just amazed by that view I could see, and about sky quality. I’m proud we have such a good place in this country. No shopping centers, no parking lots, just things that really matter. Nature in all its beauty and You.
