Description

From the photographer: “The eruption of Etna has just begun and the hairpin bends leading to the Sapienza refuge are an excellent observation point where you can see the eastern coast of Sicily, the volcano and the entire sky. The image therefore shows a 360 ° spherical panorama that includes the Moon, a faint Milky Way, the winter constellations and the eruption of the volcano with its cloud of ash. Several cars travel the road to head to the slopes of the crater in the hope of observing the paroxysm. On their way they left an arc of light around the image.”
