Full Moon and Greek Wedding

The Full Moon rises over a wedding celebration at Profitis Ilias church in Lavrio area of Greece. As noted by the photographer “Perhaps the greatest challenge for capturing the Moon against an earthy foreground is the illumination balance between the foreground and the Moon. It seems that the optimum time to capture such a scene is few minutes after sunset. Other factors of course must be considered like the elevation of the photographer and the subject’s position from the sea level and the terrestrial morphology. I used a Canon Rebel DSLR for this 1/10 second exposure using a 200mm telephoto lens.”
