Description

The Galaxy in the backdrop of lights, taken near midnight during the shortest night of the year (Summer Solstice) from Point Penmarch lighthouse at the Atlantic Ocean shore of Brittany, France. From the photographer: “The Milky Way seems to emerge from the lighthouse. It rises up to Cygnus, and goes down toward the slipway where are located Sagittarius and Scorpius. On the right, Saturn and finally the couple formed by Mars and Spica are visible.”
