Description

As seen on National Geographic News the eclipsed Moon sets behind the forest hills in Turkey. As described by the photographer “About 10 minutes after the end of the total lunar eclipse of 28th October 2004, the Moon was about to disappear behind the hills. I made the image using with my old Zenit 12XP film camera and 500 mm mirror lens piggybacked on my telescope. I had turned the telescope’s motor drive off to record a steady foreground”.
