Description

The night sky during the total lunar eclipse of 2014 April 15 in the tropical weather and ocean breeze at the coast of Long Key State Park located on Long Key, one of the Florida Keys (a coral cay archipelago of many islands in the southeastern US). The eclipsed red Moon appears next to Mars, shining brightly near its 2014 opposition. The summer Milky Way rises on the left in this early morning fisheye scene.
