Description

As the first dawn light emerges from the eastern rim of Wolfe Creek Meteorite Crater, five planets appear in alignment. Jupiter appears high above the eastern horizon, Venus appears as the brightest planet, then Mercury and Saturn deep in the dawn twilight glow. The fifth planet is the Earth, as viewed from this unique vantage point on the rim of Wolfe Creek Meteorite Crater; a kilometer in diameter important impact crater located about 130 km south of Halls Creek, Western Australia.
