Description

Milky way in Fandana, south of Madagascar, the lights on the horizon are the many savanna fires that are lit at all hours of the day by the local populations. The mountain called “bishop hat” is recognizable due to its peculiar shape. Every year a third of Madagascar is burned by peasants who set fire to make the cultivable and pasture land, causing serious damage to the unique ecosystems of the island.
