Description

Time-lapse video: In Europe´s Baltic and Northern Sea regions the sky never gets entirely dark from May to July. TWAN photographer Bernd Proeschold was lucky to capture scattered clouds
drifting through the midnight dawn and creating a spectacular sky at sunrise. The sand dune in the foreground is the famous Rubjerg Knude shifting dune. The lighthouse on its top was shut down in 1968 when it was obscured by sand.
