Damavand Jet at Night

From the photographer: “This image shows star traces over the highest mountain of Iran. Clouds of volcanic hot water jets can be seen just above the sleeping volcano’s peak. Mount Damavand has been a potentially active volcano but there isn’t any known date for its last eruption. Also known as the highest volcano in Asia, Damavand is 5,621 meters high from sea level.”
