From the photographer: “Comet NEOWISE above the Cote d’Azur Observatory – Plateau de Calern (Caussols), in South of France. The observatory emits a laser beam to the moon to calculate the Earth-Moon distance by reflecting from mirrors left by Apollo programs on the moon surface.”
