Cosmic Twilight

From the photographer: “Since my first trip to La Palma I was fascinated by the Observatories at the Roque de Los Muchachos. I returned many times to the island and started to explore that mountain with its first class star gazer conditions and astronomical institute with my nightscraper equipment to make a photography documentary. It’s still hard to describe the impressive number of stars and details in the Milky Way Galaxy you are able to see from this alien landscape above the clouds.”
