Comet McNaught Over Argentina

The brightest and most spectacular comet in 40 years, Mc Naught, was a stunning sight in the sky of southern hemisphere during January 2007. Captured here is the comet with its stretched tail toward the setting crescent Moon. As announced on TWAN website this image was the winner of Special Events category in TWAN 2008 Earth and Sky regional Photo Contest for South America and India.
