Comet at the Brittany Coast

Comet PanSTARRS (C/2011 L4) appears in the evening twilight of the Atlantic coastline of Brittany, France. Click on the second photo to see another photo of this scene. From the photographer: “I was at the Pointe du Raz, the most famous Brittany western tip. After capturing the sunset and a nice green and blue flash, I just had to wait for the comet to appear. In the foreground the “Raz de Sein” is a dangerous place due to strong ocean currents and shoals.”
