Description

A photo composite of two exposures. From the photographer: “Jupiter (below) and Saturn (just above) getting closer and closer on Modica (Sicily), will reach their closest point on 12/21. Such a conjunction between the two giants of the solar system didn’t happen since 1623, in practice since the time of Galileo Galilei. In the shot it is also possible to admire the 4 main satellites of Jupiter discovered by Galileo.

We are lucky spectators, raise your eyes and admire how the universe can surprise us :)”
