Description

From the photographer: “It was in complete darkness, in the countryside of Portugal (Vila Velha de Ródão), that I managed to achieve this capture, just as I planned from home. While scouting compositions in street view I found this tree which I thought was unbelievably gorgeous.

On the day of the shooting, I visited the spot during the afternoon, to get used to the place and to test the framing. Also to think about the technique I was going to use. I decided that I was going to try a vertical panorama with a 35mm(apsc), and ended up stacking 5 frames for each panel, something I haven’t done before. The golden tones in the foreground during night time were even more incredible in the sensor and the cherry on top of what I think is one of my best shots.”
