Description

The prominent stars of Ursa Major (the Big Dipper asterism) and bright star Arcturus shine in a moonlit night of Caparra, an ancient Roman city in the Extremadura region of Spain. As noted by the photographer ”This city obtained the status of municipality in 74 DC for a decree of the emperor Vespasiano. In the foreground one can see the public baths of Caparra with the four doors arch in the background, wich was located in the downtown.”
