Description

A photo-composite of multiple exposures. From the photographer: “Near Palma di Montechiaro stands a castle whose construction dates back to 1353 by the Chiaramonte family. The building stands on a rocky ridge that rises above the Mediterranean Sea and which rises above the surrounding Sicilian countryside.

The marine horizon is barely visible due to the humidity in the air which blurs its outlines into the sky. In the distance stands a small structure which is part of an equipped area dedicated to glamping for those wishing to isolate themselves in nature and enjoy the silence and the scents of the Mediterranean machine. A view that would shortly thereafter also be embellished by the rising of the first super moon of 2023 called the buck moon. It is tinged with multiple colors that enrich the chromatic range of the sky: from magenta to orange and from orange to yellow to then become a brilliant white moon. Below you can also appreciate the effect of distortion induced by the lower layers of the Earth’s atmosphere.”
