Description

From the photographer: “Crater Lake, the deepest lake in the United States, formed over 7,700 years ago through the cataclysmic collapse of Mount Mazama. The lake is surrounded by towering cliffs that provide a dramatic backdrop to its serene waters. On the night of Aug 12 2023, I was lucky to witness the Perseid meteor shower, a magical display of the nature’s fireworks. The green color of the sky was caused by airglow.”
