The Milky Way Galaxy stretches above a tree next to the 64-metre radio-telescope also known as “The Dish”. Thanks to private 100-million funding, the 64-metre antenna in Parkes together with the 100-metre Greenbank radio-telescope will participate in the Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence (SETI) for the next 10 years. During the project two most powerful radio-telescopes will listen for broadcast signals from a million of the stars closest to Earth and all scientific data will be made public.
