Battle of the Lights

From the photographer: “A setting Venus-Mars conjunction on image left competing with a waxing gibbous moon and the Cape Schanck Light Station, Victoria, Australia. The lighthouse is located on the southernmost tip of Mornington Peninsula overlooking Bass Strait and was built in 1859 to keep the shipping lanes safe on the passage to and from Melbourne.”
