Northern Lights above the Norwegian Nesjoen (Nes Lake). TWAN photographer Bernd Proeschold was lucky to capture some Northern Lights in 2009, a year where solar activity has been on its lowest level. A small coronal hole (in the solar atmosphere) caused few days of activity during September 2009.
