Aurora Borealis Above the Beach at Flakstad

From the photographer: “The beach at Skagsanden, on the island of Flakstadøya, is one of the best places to witness and photograph the Northern Lights in Lofoten. The small rivers flowing into the Norwegian Sea make the landscape even more interesting. I love photographing the Northern Lights when the Moon is around its full phase. The landscape gets enough light to see all details and the colors are vibrant.”
