Assos Roman Theater

The Milky Way appears during moonrise over the ancient Roman theater of Assos, in the Aegean seaside. Planet Saturn is the bright object at the upper right. Also known as Behramkale, Assos is located in Canakkale province of Turkey, close to the westernmost point of Asia. Assos was founded about 3000 years ago.
