Ancient Bristlecone Star Trails

From the photographer: “Having shot several hundred photos in order to produce a time-lapse video of the Perseid Meteor Shower in 2009, I was able to create this star trail shot by combining 44 of the individual images. Most of the streaks are airplanes, but you can see several meteors just to the left of the tree in the image.” – Jeff Sullivan
