Description

What better painter exists in the world than nature itself ?! You are enchanted by the wonder of colors and lights that it is unexpectedly able to give. This image wanted to shoot a circular star trail around the polar for the entire duration of the night when some clouds from the south partially covered the sky. I was afraid that I had not been able to film the faint stars that I imagined would be covered by the clouds. Yet these, from enemies, have turned into allies.

At a particular moment of the evening they moved by painting brushstrokes of color while the sky rotated in sync in the background. I would never have believed that these streaks would be created that magically seem to converge towards the point of rotation in the sky. I did not even imagine that they would be tinged with multiple shades thanks to the almost full moon that was setting and drastically changing the lighting of the scene. The trees, cloaked in orange, yellow and brick red complete the scene showing the beauty of the autumn landscapes of the Nebrodi while the sky is reflected in the placid waters of Lake Maullazzo. Finally, it seems to be surrounded by the fence that creates a converging movement towards the focal center of the scene. And no … this is not an aurora.
