Description

In a moonlit night of Amboseli National Park, Kenya, the Large and Small Magellanic Clouds (our neighboring dwarf galaxies) are photographed over a curved Acacia tree and Mount Kilimanjaro. Canopus, the second brightest star in the night sky, is on the left and Achernar is in the upper middle. Click on the second photo to see a sunset view of Amboseli, known for its large population of African elephants.
