A Grace Moment of Bryce Canyon

From the Photographer: “Dawn breaks over the red rock scenery of Bryce Canyon on a clear summer morning, together with a conjunction of Venus and the Moon. The crescent is visible through one of the openings in the hoodoo known as Venice Mask. Milky Way and Zodiacal Light forms a huge faint and diffuse X in this colorful view of the eastern sky. The red rock hoodoo foreground is equally interesting. Thor’s Hammer hoodoo can be seen below Sirius and the remains of Sentinel is above the trail on the right. This wide angle panorama was photographed during a road trip in western US to visit some national parks and monuments and observe the total Solar eclipse of 2017 August 21.”
