A Comet in Vendicari's Sky

From the photographer: “The comet 2023 P1 Nishimura above the old tuna processing factory in the Vendicari reserve. The astronomical night has just ended and the sky is also illuminated by the light of the Moon. Nevertheless the comet is perfectly visible just above the old fireplace made of red bricks. The sea, on the other hand, is agitated by the wind blowing from the north-east which anticipates the Mediterranean cyclone which would have hit the coasts of Sicily in a few hours. The comet is easily readable with its blue-green coma and its tail in which at least three main structures are clearly distinguished.”
