A Colorful Night of Iceland
Description
Seen on the cover of the National Geographic special issue (Hidden Earth), a major solar storm that reached the earth on 2015 march 17-18 generated impressive aurora displays. Here the northern lights appear in all colors above an iconic landmark of Iceland, the waterfalls and mountain of Kirkjufell (Church mountain) in Snaefellsnes peninsula.
