Description

From the photographer: “This is a 13-hour star trail captured to the north of Haute Provence Observatory during one entire night. The International Space Station (ISS) passed during the night and caused the trail over the T1.93m dome. An Iridium flare also put a little trail at the center of the picture. The eccentric trajectory of star trails around Polaris (the north star) is due to the lens deformation at 10mm focal length.”
