Robert Barsa

I am an amateur astronomer based in Slovakia. Interested and experienced in astronomy since the primary school, active member of the Astronomy Club PALLAS in Košice. My main focus lies on astrophotography, but I'm active also in observations of variable stars, meteors, eclipses, occultations, etc.Besides the practical astronomy experience I own the gold medal from the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA 2007, Thailand). I've studied computer science at the Technical University of Košice and completed the study with honors at engineer's degree.I'm the member of Slovak Astronomical Society at the Slovak Academy of Sciences. Currently I work as IT specialist and architect for almost 10 years.
