Photo Report: TWAN in Western Australia
April and May 2009 saw Australia’s first look at TWAN with an exhibition of TWAN images in the Horizon Planetarium of Scitech, the leading science museum in Perth, Western Australia, and in the University of Western Australia during the “Out There” astronomy expo (4-15 May); a school outreach program for the International Year of Astronomy 2009, highlighting the world’s biggest ground-based astronomy project in the close future which is the Square Kilometer Array radio telescope with 4,000 dishes to spread across 3000km.
