Photo Report: TWAN Exhibition in Berlin
2009 April 4: TWAN traveling events in Germany, coordinated by TWAN-Europe representatives Gernot Meiser and Pascale Demy, started at the Germany’s official International year of Astronomy 2009 opening ceremony in Berlin with a large screen show accompanied with live piano performance. The ceremony was held in the beautiful palace of Museum for Posts and Telecommunications in Berlin on January 20. Later during February 2009 The World at Night exhibition assembled in the museum first floor for about a month, as a joint program with European Southern Observatory exhibition to celebrate the IYA2009. After Berlin TWAN exhibition in Germany has traveled to Cologne, March 27 to April 14, and then the popular Stuttgart Planetarium in southern Germany from March 31 to May 17.
