Photo Report: TWAN Continues to Travel in Hungary
2010 December 10: The World at Night exhibit and presentations continue to travel in Hungary in an effort organized by the Hungarian Astronomical Association and TWAN member Tamas Ladanyi. This photo report presents 2010 TWAN events in the country: April at the Eötvös József College in the city of Baja in connection with the United Nation’s Earth Day programs in the city; July at the Community House of the Reformed Church in Csopak located in the tourism area of Lake Balaton; September-October in Pecs (2010 European Capital of Culture) hosted by the Institute of Geography and Physics at the University of Pécs; November-December exhibition and sky imaging workshop in the Culture Center of Szekesfehervar city. Several organizations supported the exhibition including Epson company which sponsored the art quality prints. The first TWAN exhibition in Hungary held in October 2009 in the beautiful venue of the National Museum in Budapest. Date and location of next TWAN exhibitions in Hungary will be announced on our events calendar and on the website for TWAN programs in Hungary.
