The Milky Way, the zodiacal light, and stars of the Winter Hexagon at the break of dawn over the Haleakala Crater on Maui, Hawaii. Haleakala (means house of the sun) is a massive shield volcano that forms most of Maui and it reaches 10,023 ft (3,055 m) high.
