Zodiacal Light and Gran Telescopio Canarias

Stunning appearance of the zodiacal light (sunlight reflection from dust in the Solar System plane) as photographed in the evening sky of La Palma, Canary Islands. Located near the top of the island at 2400 meters high are some of the world’s major telescopes including the giant 10.4-meter GTC (Gran Telescopio Canarias) which belongs to Spain.
