Description

Winter stars rises as the clouds pass above a lonely windmill in Hungary. As noted by the photographer “I took the image during the Leonid meteor shower on Nov. 17th. After hearing about the Nova Eridani which was discovered on Nov. 25th as a 8th magnitude star I searched for it in this image of pre-discovery and found it as a 6.8 magnitude star, near the border of Orion and Eridanus at the left edge of the image. Besides their beauty and educational aspects, TWAN-style images can be very useful documents for the history of sky events.” © Tamas Ladanyi
