Description

This is the April Waxing Crescent Moon above the port of Patras during the blue hour when the moon was about to set. Probably my favorite phase of the moon; a thin crescent (~2,5% illuminated) that it’s not that easy to see, but when you did, you realize how beautiful it is. I went to the port before the sunset to find my composition, but there were many clouds close to the horizon. I packed everything and I was returning home when I saw a gap in the clouds which were filled with colours. I turned back at my spot and then I didn’t want to leave this view.

Technical Details: Single Exposure, Nikon D3300, Tamron 70-210mm f4, (100 mm | ISO 400 | f6.3 | 0.8 sec)
