Description

A starry night in Waterton Lakes National Park. This World Heritage Site is located in the southwest corner of Alberta, Canada, and borders Glacier National Park in Montana, USA. As noted by the photographer “It was so windy, I had to stand besides my tripod for 2 hours to break the wind. It was only -1C but the windchill was quite low. I was so happy that it got clear, I didn’t mind being a wind shelter for my equipment! The town of Waterton Lakes is just about a ghost town in winter, most of the hotels and all the stores are closed until early May.”
