Waning Moon
Description
From the photographer: “In the last days of late summer before autumn, a narrow crescent moon appeared. The narrow crescent, only 3% illuminated, was visible for the last time that morning, about 42 hours before the new moon. It appeared to pass over the church of a small village on the island of Rügen in north-eastern Germany. The Da Vinci light of the moon disc was very clearly visible.”
