From the photographer: “Before the sky was completely closed by clouds, Venus and Jupiter appeared on this stunning location: the Tierras Coloradas of Santa Cruz Tayata, in Oaxaca, Mexico. The red soil remind us that this is the land of the Sun, it remind us the skin of our mixtecan ancestors. Tonight is the town’s party. The moon illuminates with its cold light and a sporadic rocket thunders just within the 10 seconds of this capture intensifying the colors with its fire.”
