Ursa Minor Over Mount Etna Eruption
Description
A photo composite of multiple exposures. From the photographer: “The night has just begun and the gleams of Etna illuminate the sky. The volcano’s activity is creating a glowing cloud of dust and gas that light brushed by the moonlight. Against the backdrop of a turquoise sky, the stars of the firmament shine and the Ursa Minor plays hide and seek game on top of the volcano. Move the slider on the image to show/hide the labels and constellation lines.”
Technical details: Canon 6d, Sigma 50mm, f/2, 6 sec, iso 400, multiple shots to recover the details of the lava plume
