Ursa Major and Polaris Above Epidaurus

In this image, you can spot the Ursa Major and Polaris above my hometown, Ancient Epidaurus. It was such a cold night that after an hour I couldn’t feel my fingers. This was also my first time using a diffuser filter in my nightscape images in order to enhance the brighter stars of the constellation. To my eye, the results were quite pleasing, so I continued capturing images of the night sky for another two hours; forgetting about the cold weather and my frozen fingers.
