Description

From the photographer: “After wandering around for a little bit in nature I had difficulty choosing which flowering tree is best suited for my frame. My first thought was to capture the constellation of the Ursa Major and Polaris above this flowering tree under the moonlight. This tree was probably the best choice, although it hadn’t that much separation from the background, which would have made it stand out from the rest of the trees as I wanted. On the other hand, I liked the connection between the night sky and the foreground, so I stayed there trying to find the best composition. The final result was better than I thought when I captured this image and seemed to have a nice balance between the elements.”
