Under One Sky

A photo composite of multiple exposures. From the photographer: “With great pleasure I share this image taken during the recent Madonie Star Party, organised by the ORSA association in Palermo. Like the other one, this photograph tells a small but intense story: that of the passion, dedication and wonder that unite lovers of the night sky. It is a universal passion, capable of uniting people from all over the world under the same starry sky. A simple scene in the Sicilian mountains becomes a symbol of a shared feeling.

In the foreground, I have the pleasure of immortalising a moment experienced with Fabio Di Stefano: from virtual acquaintance to true friend, today lying on the lawn while waiting for the image of the North American Nebula. Next to him, two other tripods are pointed towards the abysses of the cosmos, while above us the Milky Way majestically crosses the Madonie sky.”
