Uluru Milky Way

A photo composite of multiple exposures made with an Astro-modified camera. From the photographer: “Photographing Uluru under the night sky has long been on my bucket list, so when I found out I would be visiting during the last quarter moon phase, I knew I had to attempt this shot.

It proved to be a difficult photo to capture, as the national park around Uluru closes at night. Fortunately, there was a brief window where it was dark enough to photograph the sky before we had to leave, and the center of the Milky Way was perfectly aligned above the iconic landmark.”
