Trusk Lough under Moon and Stars

From the photographer: “I took this on Friday 08 April 2011 at the scenic Trusk Lough, Ballybofey, Co. Donegal, about 10-miles from my home in rural Ireland. Shortly after sunset I hopped in the car and headed for this picturesque setting. Upon arrival, the winter constellations were dipping below the western horizon on a beautiful spring night. I got out my camera and got snapping, later I enjoyed a cup of tea while gasping at the moonlit vista. The beauty of the star-filled sky and Moonlit landscape was intensified by the sound of the waves lapping up on to the lake side while the wild ducks splashed, played and quacked the night away!” – © Brendan Alexander
