Description

The central bulge of the Milky Way appears above coconut palms at the shores of Ilha Grande, Brazil. Constellations Scorpius and Sagittarius are framed in the view. The bright star Antares (a red giant star) marks the heart of the celestial scorpion. Ilha Grande is located off the coast of Rio de Janeiro state and it is largely preserved and noted for its scenic beauty. The island is one of the most pristine remnants of Brazil’s Atlantic rainforest and one of the richest ecosystems in the world.

Wow, beautiful, and the trees are not blurred. (Perhaps there was no light pollution.) Tell me please, how long was its exposure time? 🙂

Thanks for the feedback. The exposure was ~ 30 seconds. The island has very little light pollution only near its the only town.
